We will guide students through peacemaking in a polarized world\, which requires shifting from an “us vs. them” mentality to building community through curiosity\, conversations\, and empathy.

DESCRIPTION:The Matthew 5:9 Fellowship is excited to partner with Vanguard University and Dr. Eunice Kang\, Assistant Professor of Political Science & International Relations\, for two consecutive events on March 5\, 2025. The first is a workshop where we will engage students on ways to have productive\, meaningful discussions with people who don’t think\, worship\, or vote as we do. Through the power of storytelling\, participants build connections by focusing on shared human experiences and values. \nThe second event will bring together students from Vanguard’s historical and political science departments\, as well as sociology and communications\, for a workshop on Developing Healthy Social Media Habits. The purpose of the workshop is to understand how social media is changing us and how Christians can develop healthy social media habits.
